2018年公開された『未来のミライ』をはじめ、『バケモノの子』『おおかみこどもの雨と雪』など細田守監督作品の音楽をてがける高木正勝。兵庫県の山間にある小さな村の自宅にて、家の窓を開け放って自然を迎え入れる。自然の一部となって思いつくままに音を出してみる。重ね録り、手直しはせずに、ありのままに。その日その時、響き合った、ピアノと自然が奏でた音楽をそのままに。耳を山に預けてピアノを弾く、自然もピアノを聴いてくれているなら。自然を主旋律として、ピアノは調和を。オリジナル作品『Marginalia』第二弾がmilanレーベルよりリリース。

待望の自身初のピアノソロアルバム登場。9人編成で臨んだ「タイ・レイ・タイ・リオ」から2年後の2010年、一転、高木正勝が一人でステージに立ったコンサートピアノソロコンサートツアー”YMENE（イメネ）“が6年以上の歳月を経て待望の音源化。「タイ・レイ・タイ・リオ」の流れを汲む音楽性ながら、一人でピアノに対峙し、指先から、体から溢れるエネルギーの全てをピアノで強烈に共鳴させて放つ、美しく生命力に満ちた演奏。ゴールが見えない旅をするように、公演毎にピアノと音と格闘を続け探り理解を深め、辿り着いたツアー最終地・東京の2公演から選ばれた楽曲15曲で構成。
