2018年公開された『未来のミライ』をはじめ、『バケモノの子』『おおかみこどもの雨と雪』など細田守監督作品の音楽をてがける高木正勝。兵庫山中のプライベートスタジオで、自然の音と、ピアノによるインプロビゼーションのみで録音されたオリジナル作品がmilanレーベルよりリリース。

待望の自身初のピアノソロアルバム登場。9人編成で臨んだ「タイ・レイ・タイ・リオ」から2年後の2010年、一転、高木正勝が一人でステージに立ったコンサートピアノソロコンサートツアー”YMENE（イメネ）“が6年以上の歳月を経て待望の音源化。「タイ・レイ・タイ・リオ」の流れを汲む音楽性ながら、一人でピアノに対峙し、指先から、体から溢れるエネルギーの全てをピアノで強烈に共鳴させて放つ、美しく生命力に満ちた演奏。ゴールが見えない旅をするように、公演毎にピアノと音と格闘を続け探り理解を深め、辿り着いたツアー最終地・東京の2公演から選ばれた楽曲15曲で構成。

2015年秋、7年ぶりに行なわれた多勢編成のホールワンマンコンサート“山咲み（やまえみ）”。ピアノ、アイヌ歌唱、パーカッション、ジプシーバイオリン、インド楽器、和楽器など、多様な文化の音を融け合わせ村の祝祭を再現するかのように繰り広げられた高木正勝の唯一無二の音楽世界。「Private/Public」「タイ・レイ・タイ・リオ」に続くコンサート記録アルバム、旧曲・新曲・映画音楽などコンサートで演奏された全曲を音源化。代表曲「Girls」、映画音楽「おおかみこどもの雨と雪」「バケモノの子」の曲も収録。

待望の自身初のピアノソロアルバム登場。9人編成で臨んだ「タイ・レイ・タイ・リオ」から2年後の2010年、一転、高木正勝が一人でステージに立ったコンサートピアノソロコンサートツアー”YMENE（イメネ）“が6年以上の歳月を経て待望の音源化。「タイ・レイ・タイ・リオ」の流れを汲む音楽性ながら、一人でピアノに対峙し、指先から、体から溢れるエネルギーの全てをピアノで強烈に共鳴させて放つ、美しく生命力に満ちた演奏。ゴールが見えない旅をするように、公演毎にピアノと音と格闘を続け探り理解を深め、辿り着いたツアー最終地・東京の2公演から選ばれた楽曲15曲で構成。
