シューゲイザー×アイドルソングの新しい可能性を提示するRAYの1stシングル。アメリカのシューゲイザーバンドRingo Deathstarrが楽曲提供したリードトラック「Meteor」をはじめ、For Tracy Hydeの管梓制作協力の「バタフライエフェクト」、cruyff in the bedroomのハタユウスケ楽曲提供の「世界の終わりは君とふたりで」と、実力派シューゲイザークリエイーターによるシューゲイザー×アイドルソングの新境地を開く３曲を収録。 Ringo Deathstarr楽曲提供の「Meteor」は全編英語詞の容赦ない洋楽シューゲイザーチューンで、アイドルソングとして極北的な１曲となった。ForTracyHydeの管梓と・・・・・・・・・（通称ドッツトーキョー）・RAYの楽曲ディレクターみきれちゃんによる共作曲「バタフライエフェクト」は、shoe gaze(足元を見つめる)という内向的なシューゲイザーイメージの逆をいく、底抜けに前向きなポジティブシューゲイザーポップに仕上がっている。cruyff in the bedroomのハタユウスケ楽曲提供の「世界の終わりは君とふたりで」は、本格的シューゲイザーサウンドとグッドメロディを併せ持つ歌モノシューゲイザーで、cruyff in the bedroomのDNAを正統に受け継ぐ１曲になっている。 "Meteor" provided by Ringo Deathstarr is a relentless shoegazer tune with full-length English lyrics, and it has become one of the most extreme idol songs.
