Album Info
19世紀、ギターの音色がハワイアンミュージックを大きく変えた。今やハワイアンミュージックで使う楽器といえば、スチールギターとウクレレが定番だが、両方とも19世紀にヨーロッパや南米からもたらされたものだ。1800年代前半、時のハワイ国王であるカメハメハ三世が、増え過ぎた畜牛の管理をするためにメキシコやスペインから移民を奨励し、彼らがギターやウクレレをハワイに持ち込み、現代に通じるハワイアンミュージックの基礎を作った。今作『朝ハワイアン ～ゆるゆるリラックスギターBGM～』は、そのスチールギターの音色をたっぷりと堪能できる作品。特に緩やかで明るいハワイアンの音色は、寝起きにぴったり。気分だけでも常夏を味わいながら、朝食を楽しんでもらいたい。
