この作品は固有のテーマやストーリーを伝えるというよりも、これまで背景として扱われがちだった「ムード」の共有を目的に作られました。 私はムードに明確な輪郭を感じません。ムードとは体験の中を漂う気配のようなものだと考えます。それゆえ、今作ではビートやメロディを背景(環境)として扱い、目立った変化を与えていません。曲中で変化し主題化されるのはそれらを覆うテクスチャやアンビエンスです。
