NINE IDEASが、廃盤となっていた1stミニアルバム『Rock the Kids』の楽曲を再構築。 原点を現代の音でアップデートした、全曲リアレンジ・再録の最新EP『Never Say the Bye Bye Bye』が完成。 収録曲には、ライブで人気を誇る「Rock the Kids」「Jealous」を新たなアレンジで収録。 さらに、誰もが知る名曲「にんげんっていいな」をNINE IDEAS流のポップパンクチューンとしてカバーし、遊び心を同居させた作品に仕上がっている。 また、「My Favorite Haunt」は、かつてバンドのホームグラウンドであった渋谷Gig Anticへの想いを込めて新たにリアレンジ。 青春と原点、そして“今のNINE IDEAS”が詰まった、再出発の一枚。 過去を超えて未来へ鳴り響く、ポップパンクの新たなアンセムがここに。 NINE IDEAS revisits and reconstructs the songs from their long out-of-print 1st mini album “Rock the Kids,” breathing new life into their origins with fully re-arranged and newly re-recorded versions on the EP “Never Say the Bye Bye Bye.” The EP features fresh takes on fan-favorite live staples “Rock the Kids” and “Jealous,” along with a playful yet heartfelt pop-punk cover of the beloved classic “Ningen tte ii na,” reimagined in true NINE IDEAS fashion. “My Favorite Haunt” is newly re-arranged as a tribute to Shibuya’s live music venue Gig Antic, the venue that once served as the band’s home ground.
