60s Psyche･GarageRockと80～90s Indiepopをルーツとする浮遊感あふれるドリーミーポップ。shoegazer、SoftRock、Bubblegum pop、AOR、Dance Music、ネオアコ･Guitarpop等のカラフルな趣向に、French Popタッチな英詞による可憐なウィスパーボイスと、FUZZを中心とした緻密なギターワークが見事に調和された比類無きサウンド。 プロデュース&MIXには日本を代表するシンセプログラマーで90s渋谷系作品 (コーネリアス、カヒミ・カリィ、ラヴ・タンバリンズ他)を多数手掛けたハンマーレーベルの森達彦を起用。濃厚ながらも癖になる軽快でポップな仕上がりとなった。 また、今作には60’s 米サイケデリックバンド Strawberry Alarm Clock の “Sit with the Guru” のカバーを収録しているが、リリースに際し、オリジナルメンバーでキーボードのMark Stephen Weitz 氏よりアルバム推薦文が寄せられた。 LP ¥2300(sold out) / CD ¥2000 / TAPE ¥800 Comments from Mark Stephen Weitz (Original member and keyboard player of The Strawberry Alarm Clock) Shinowa's new melodic energy-filled album release "Flowerdelic" shows just how really far Shinowa has come musically since I first discovered their cover version of our record "Sit with a Guru" on You Tube back in 1999!
