ポストロック・バンドmouse on the keysが6年ぶりの2ndアルバム『the flowers of romance』より収録曲「leviathan」のMVを公開した。
7月15日に2ndアルバム『the flowers of romance』をリリースするmouse on the keys。
今作は2012年発売のミニ・アルバム『machinic phylum』以来のリリースとなり、フル・アルバムとしては実に6年振り。
世界中で高い人気を誇る日本のエレクトリック・ミュージック・レーベル「mule musiq」より待望のリリースとなる。2006年の結成以来、アグレッシブさはそのままに、より円熟味を帯びた今作はもはやポストロックという枠には収まりきらないネクスト・レベルへと向かう彼等の世界が満喫できるはず。現在、アルバム収録曲からこれぞmouse on the keysと言えるサウンドでアルバムのハイライトとなる1曲「leviathan」のMVが公開されている。『the flowers of romance』はOTOTOYからハイレゾ配信が決定しているので是非高音質で繊細かつ大胆な音世界を堪能してほしい。(岡本貴之)
