2008, when myu was participating a project that sound of heart converted into music
by cooperating with medical company and hospital, as music therapist,
phy as participated as an examinee accidentally. This was first encounter of member of gift.

myu as classic piano player is familiar with perfect pitch, also known as a music therapist.
phy as DAW composer is familiar with computing program, also know as a doctor.

gift sound is considered as jazzy drum'n'bass and mellow down beats with classic piano.
A flavour of sound is nostalgic and hopeful.

2009, starting iTunes store sales. Contributing new song vtk to theme song of p.c.a.d project

Now gift is recording new song for next phase.
Unique existence of two harmonize unique field.


2008年 myu が音楽療法士として心臓音を音楽に変換するプロジェクトを企業と
大学病院で共同研究していたところに phy が偶然治験者として参加したことがきっかけで結成。

医学と音楽との融合というコンセプトの基、gift を 結成する。
音楽の主軸はclassic pianoを軸としたjazzyなdrum'n'bass、mellowなdown beats。

音楽療法士としての顔も持つ myu の絶対音感から紡ぎ生まれる数多の心揺らすメロディー。
医師としての顔も持つ phy の緻密に計算されつくしたプログラミング。
そこに医学的、実験的な解釈を加えた楽曲はどこか悲しく、情緒的でいて、そして希望に満ちている。

2009年には米RapperであるMathew Bとのコラボレーション曲
ngt を含むミニアルバムをiTunesで配信開始。
同年 名古屋 Zip FM 主催での着うた配信開始。
同年 MA ENTERPRISE JAPAN よりコンピレーションCD、NGCに楽曲提供を行う。
同年 日本を代表するグラフィックデザイナー達が集まり、
世界の問題を考えるSocial Charity Art Projectである p.c.a.d へテーマ曲を提供する。

2010年にはニューアルバム、 know the world を発表。
今作において、Jazz界のディーバ、青木カレンをゲストボーカルに迎え、
壮大な世界観を構築している。

現在野外、室内と様々な場所でパフォーマンスする傍ら、新たな楽曲のレコーディング中である。
稀有な存在の2人が稀有な2つの分野を融合させる。
